Updated Information on the PowerCord Jam Next Thursday, Sept 10

PowerCord Jam in the Park(ing lot) is a FREE student concert with the focus on presenting the concern and learning those skills - not actually creating something for the audience. Student volunteers will set up, present, record and clean up a professionally managed opportunity that could eventually be used on resume and job interview opportunities. ALL volunteers will get a PowerCord Bacelet (check out the website) AND get priority access to the craft table – free food and drink. All others get access after the volunteers.

Combustion is a chemical process in which a substance reacts rapidly with oxygen and gives off heat. The original substance is called the fuel, and the source of oxygen is called the oxidizer. The fuel can be a solid, liquid, or gas. During combustion, new chemical substances are created from the fuel and the oxidizer.
